1926, October 31st - Jimmy Savile born to Agnes Monica Savile, Vincent Joseph Marie Savile.

1944 - Savile on cycling holiday falls in love with Glencoe cottage he passes, & will later, buy, in 1998.

1945 - Savile goes on cycling trip to Calais, immediately upon the cessation of hostilities in Europe. "I happened to read
one day that the cross-Channel ferries had started. Freedom was too tempting..." Struggles for 4 days through post-War Calais 
to reach Le Touquet; took a look at the "shattered" Hotel Picardy, then immediately set off back for home!

pre - 1950's - Savile also works as a porter in Broadmoor hospital before he runs dance halls in the 50's.

1950's onwards - organised and sophisticated worldwide network of paedophiles in operation begins.
Distribution of pro - paedophile propaganda begins.

1951 - Savile's Tour of Britain cycle race.

1952 - Prince Philip allegedly initiated into Freemasonry, Navy Lodge, No. 2612 UGLE, London.

1952, Feb 8th - New Queen, Elizabeth II, proclaimed Queen.

1953 - Savile's father dies.

1955 - earliest recorded instant by police of abuse by Savile, in Manchester when running dance hall.

mid 1950's - Savile manages the Plaza Ballroom on Oxford Road, Manchester.

1955 - 56 - Savile manages Mecca-owned Palais dance hall in Ilford, Essex.

mid 50's - mid 60's - Savile living in Salford; later period with Ray Teret, who became his
support DJ, assistant and chauffeur

1956 - 1958 - Russell Howard Tricker educated at Elmbridge School.

Late 1950's/early 1960 - Savile manages the Mecca Locarno ballroom in Leeds.

1957 - Alan 'Fluff' Freeman begins European career on Radio Luxembourg as a cover DJ for the summer holidays.

1958 - 1967 - Savile's radio career begins at Radio Luxembourg.

1958 - Ian Harvey, future president of CGHE, junior foreign minister and future president of CGHE,
forced to quit as minister after being caught with a Coldstream Guardsman in London’s St James’s Park when 
homosexual acts are illegal. 

1959 - Maggie Thatcher MP Finchley.

1959, October 14th - Ted Heath Minister of Labour.

late 1950's - Savile visits Moscow - USSR (he doesn't give a date in the biography).

1960's - CPS file about allegations against Cyril Smith started now (having initially claimed to have ‘no knowledge’ of
any police investigation, the CPS backtracks in 2013.).

1960's - Alan 'Fluff' Freeman, radio 1 DJ, owns a large corner shop on the Lea Bridge Rd in London. The scene of many
notorious parties with celebrity guests.

1960's - Sir Jimmy Saville OBE first visits Henlow Grange when it was owed by Leida Costigan. He became a regular visitor
and close friend of Stephen Purdew and his mother Dorothy when they took over in 1981. So much so that they named the new
bedroom wing at Henlow after him in August 1985.

1960's - late 1970's - David Hamilton Grant Britain's self-proclaimed 'King of Sexploitation', distributes and produces
all manner of pornography from London's West End.

1960 - In his book 'As It Happens', Savile describes this as the year he visits Elvis Presley in California.

March 17th - the States adopted an act changing the name of Jersey institution to Haut de la Garenne. Throughout the 1960s
and 1970s the home receives both boys and girls.

1960, July - Ted Heath no longer Minister of Labour.

1961 - Savile starts at Leeds General Infirmary. Invited to work there by its chief porter, Charles Hulligan, who will go on
to become a paid employee of the DJ while still working at the hospital. He was initially invited to help its new hospital
radio station, and promptly volunteered as a porter.

1961 - Savile attests he started wearing his trademark clothes in 1961. “Ali G wears tracksuits and bulky jewellery
like I started doing on the telly in 1961. He must go to the charity shops I give my old tracksuits to.”

1961 - Alan 'Fluff' Freeman becomes presenter of BBc's first chart show, 'Pick of The Pops'. He continues to present
late-evening programmes on the station until the early 1970s.

1961, 1st January - Conservative Monday Club founded by Ian Greig, Paul Bristol, Cedric Gunner and Anthony Maclaren.
Some members that appear on the Elm Guest house list are; Harvey Proctor, John Rowe, Peter Campbell, Richard Miles, 
Peter Glencross (editor of newsletter), Charles Irving and Stan Mathews (not footballer).

1962 - Cyril Smith begins taking an interest in Youth matters in Rochdale - ''sitting on committees in charge
of the Rochdale Youth Theatre, the Rochdale Youth Orchestra, the Youth Employment Committee, as well as the 
governorship of 29 local schools.'' He also sets up a hostel for boys from deprived families in Rochdale, 
''approaching poor parents and explaining that their child would be better off in care.''

1962, Feb 14th - 'Jimmy Savile Limited' company.

1962, November - Wilfred Brambell arrested (later convicted) for importuning, or soliciting, in a public lavatory
in Shepherd’s Bush, west London. He was given a conditional discharge and ordered to pay 25 guineas costs. 

1963 - Profumo scandal

1963 - 1968 - abuse at Kincora boys home, Belfast, home to 168 boys age 15 - 18. (3 staff jailed 1981).

1963 - Earliest known complaint about Savile. Male victim comes forward to claim Savile raped him in Cheshire but is told 
by police to “forget about it”. Story corroborated in January 2013 by Chief Drusilla Sharpling in Watchdog Her Majesty’s Inspectorate 
of Constabulary's report, 'Giving Victims a Voice'. A missed chance as officer did not record a report and no investigation

1963 - Lord Boothby begins an illicit affair with East End cat burglar Leslie Holt. Introduced to the Krays.
Underworld connections and fact Tom Driberg MP involved not reported until 1964 in Sunday Mirror, despite
conservative Sunday Express knowing earlier. Kray's criminal activities continue for c.3 years, til 8 May 1968
when arrested.

1963, October 20th - Ted Heath Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development, and President
of the Board of Trade

1964 - Peter Campbell becomes the founding head of Reading's Department of Politics and retains a close interest in
it until his death in 2005. He was also to be Dean of the Faculty of Letters and Social Sciences.

1964, New Year's Day - Savile presents first edition of Top of the Pops at BBC.

1964 - Police intelligence files (section 5.1 of 'Mistakes Were Made' HMIC’s review into allegations and intelligence 
material concerning Jimmy Savile between 1964 and 2012), released in March 2013, link notorious paedophile Savile to
a child sex ring but it is overlooked until 2012. There is an entry very early on in a police offficer's ledger that
talks about a premises in BATTERSEA Bridge Road where two men were investigated and indeed prosecuted for living off 
immoral earnings. 
“It’s a property where girls from the Duncroft School were visiting and Savile is shown in there [the ledger] as
frequenting that premises.”

It says : '“BATTERSEA BRIDGE ROAD, (WA) – 4 older girls & youth named [name] (? Homosexual) live at
– Jimmy SAVILLE (sic) well known disc jockey frequents – used by absconders from DUNCROFT APP SCHOOL”. A second entry
on the page opposite reads: “DUNCROFT APP SCHOOL – Absconders – Vice Ring. [Name] ….living on (sic) immoral earnings
of [names of two females identified as DUNCROFT girls]. 2 yrs imp. [Name]…Charged with [name] as above, also further 
charged with harbouring [female‟s name] – failed to appear…on 20/10/64 having estreated his bail & thought to be in Holland. 
[Name], [address]. At CCC (Central Criminal Court) on 5/11/1964. Charged with living on (sic) earnings & procuring [two female names]. Found NOT GUILTY. 
No connection with [name and name] above, but all DUNCROFT girls. The address (sic) used by [name and name] were 
[address given]. All men were coloured. [Name of female] (ex-Duncroft) introduced the girls to the men concerned.”

1964 (September?) - 1974 - Russell Tricker works as a School Teacher until dismissal for child sex offences.

1964, October 7th - Official launch of North Western Homosexual Law Reform Committee (NWHLRC) at Church House in 
Manchester. NWHLRC was founded in Manchester by Allan Horsfall and Colin Harvey. This would later become the 
Committee for Homosexual Equality (CHE) in 1969.

1964, October 16th - Ted Heath no longer Secretary of State for Industry, Trade and Regional Development, and President
of the Board of Trade

c.1965 - Around this time Savile becomes an honorary member & patron of the Manchester Taxi Drivers Organisation. Has at least 50
trips over the next 40 years helping take handicapped and disadvantaged children on mostly annual trips to places like Blackpool
Pleasure Beach. Will later be halted owing to "child protection laws and red - tape".

1965 - 1988 - Savile volunteer porter and fundraiser at Stoke Mandeville hospital. Also had his own quarters there.
Satanic abuse alleged.

1965 - Greystone Heath: "a model of everyday paedophile collusion". 21 yr old student teacher Keith Laverack starts work
at Greystone Heath, approved school for boys in Warrington. Embarks on a campaign of buggery and indecent assault. For
next 4 years rapes 16 boys, shares with colleague Brian Percival, and joined eventually by other abusers who join their
staff. Alan Langshaw (raped at least 24 boys); Dennis Grain who raped at least 18; Roy Shuttleworth who raped at least ten;
Jack Bennett who indecently assaulted two; and Steve Norris who assaulted an unknown number. They then fan out to other

1966 - Mountbatten introduces Savile to Philip.

1966 - Jimmy Savile awarded honorary green beret by the Royal Marines. "Over an extended period Sir Jimmy completed the
Commando Training Course at Lympstone, Devon. In 1966 Jimmy and his brother Vince, then a serving officer with the Royal
Navy, completed the gruelling 30 mile march over Dartmoor which has to be done in 8 hours. Jimmy and Vince both finished
the march and Jimmy was awarded the coveted green beret".

1966 - Michael Trestrail becomes the Duke of Edinburgh's "personal police officer". Vetting should be repeated at regular
5 year intervals, but ''wasn't".,7038905

1967 - Prince Edward begins service as the Grand Master of the United Grand Lodge of England, the governing body of
Freemasonry in England and Wales.

1967 - & for next 18 months, 13 yr old Guy Marsden, Jimmy Savile's nephew, taken to wealthy celebrities houses in London
with his friends, where men sexually abused girls and boys as young as 10, with Savile present. Showbiz names and Priest,
victims from orphanage or childrens home.Originally taken frm Euston station by men who coincidentally knew Savile as abusers.

1967, July 27th - Decriminalisation of Sexual Offences Act 1967 is passed in an Act of Parliament that decriminalises homosexual acts in private between two men, both of whom had to have attained the age of 21.

1968 -Savile's Travels, BBCradio 1.

1968 - 1970's - Savile volunteers as volunteer porter at Leeds General Infirmary. One of victims only 5.

1968 - Geoffrey Prime first starts working in signals intelligence as an RAF linguist and is based in Berlin when he
contacts the KGB in 1968.

1968 - According to article in The Daily Express, Monday 1st January 1973, Savile has worked in Broadmoor for 5 years,
from 1968. Whatsmore they were "all night shifts".

1969 - Savile attends Jersey's Battle of The Flowers and is pronounced 'Mr Battle', attests Miss Battle of same year, Mary Horton.
Also referenced in Mark Williams Thomas' 'Exposure' documentary.

1969 - The North Western Homosexual Law Reform Committee (NWHLRC) becomes the Committee for Homosexual Equality (CHE),
with a view to becoming a national body for England and Wales. It is one of the oldest gay rights organisations in the
United Kingdom. It is a membership organisation which aims "to promote legal and social equality for lesbians, gay men
and bisexuals in England and Wales." Among CHE's leading members in this period were the writer
and broadcaster Ray Gosling and the academic Michael Steed. A newsletter is produced from now until 1971, which will give
rise to other publications.

1969, Feb 24th - ''A full scale search of Ben Nevis for Jimmy Savile, the disc jockey, was called off last night, when
Saville, who has not been seen for most of the day, reported his return''... ''Along with two experienced companions 
he had planned to climb to the summit of Ben Nevis yesterday; and had spent the night midway up the mountain. They set
off early on their climb, but weather conditions were not good, and while his two companions went on, Saville decided
to turn back on his own. His companions returned by Glen Nevis, and when they found that Saville had not reported back
a search was organised. The search party was in process of being assembled when Saville reported his return about 8.15 p.m.,4442860

1969, 10th December - Savile records 'Christmas Songs of Praise' for the BBC from Calder High School. Transmission
date 28/12/69. FOI to BBC by 56cheffy.

early 1970's - snuff films come into existence - name allegedly derived from Charles Manson.

early 1970's - John Peters, Englishman who takes part in 'Bjorn tape' video of horrific sex assault on 8 yr old boy, and former soldier,
goes AWOL after being charged with having sex with a 14 yr old boy in public toilets near his base in Sutton Coulfield.
Later goes on to be convicted in Denmark of a separate offence of child abuse.

70's - 80's - abuse in Islington's children's homes under watch of Margaret Hodge. 
Abuse in childrens homes nationally during this period an epidemic.

early 1970's - The Who create Ramport Studios in Thessaly Road, Battersea. The studio space is in an old church. Almost identical
adddress named on Elm Guest House documents, just slightly different postcode. Also a 'Townsend' is listed, though spelt

1970's -David Hamilton - Grant becomes Andrew Willis Holt's new name, when he becomes a 'successful film director'.
Also produces a Royal Variety performance around this time featuring Peter Sellers and Arthur Askey. However, there are 
only 2 productions I know of that feature Peter Sellers; 1st November 1954 and 8th November 1965.

1970's - Savile appears in the second episode of a series called 'Play it Safe; Children Cant Fly'. Contains interviews 
with parents and children who have had an actual accident, who speak of their reactions and lessons they had learned.

1970's - Savile's relationship with Janet Cope, his PA, begins now when she is a medical secretary at the National
Spinal Injuries Centre in Buckinghamshire. They become very close and will continue for nearly 30 years, helping with
charity work and travelling the country with him.

1970's - 2 children, 12 - 13, allegedly abused by Wilfred Bramble in the back rooms at Jersey Opera House, as they claim
in October 2012. One a resident at Haut de La Garenne. Not reported the abuse to the police at the time because they did 
''not trust the island’s constabulary''.

1970's - Savile becomes a regular visitor at Haut de La Garenne.

1970's - Savile abuses 14 year old girl in Jersey, Dee Coles, and her friend in a campervan. Forced to perform
sex acts on him when on holiday.

1970 - A new wing for staff accommodation is built on the western part of the site of Haut de La Garenne.

1970 - to present day - The Spartacus International Gay Guide published, annually. originally by 
John D. Stamford, currently by Bruno Gmünder Verlag in Berlin, Germany. Peter Glencross the commercial
Manager. Allegedly an international paedophile ring with an estimated 30,000 members. A good resource for paedophiles
looking for children to molest. Listed countries, areas addresses and prices to spend the night with a child. 

1970 - Savile visits Romford Library to encourage young people to vote, part of the council's strategy. Historian
called Brian who attended event recalls "People who were a bit close to him knew".

1970 - first recorded instance of abuse by Savile at Duncroft school in Surrey.
A second allegation made that he committed one offence at an Exeter Hopsital (part of Royal Devon & Exeter Hospital
NHS Foundation Trust).

1970, January - Savile appears on This Is Your Life', hosted by Eamonn Andrews.

1970's - David Hamilton - Grant opens string (8 or 9) of sex cinemas in the West End, (Business partner's obituary
says, from 1972 - 1978. (Ray Selfe was a director of his 'Oppidan' company).

1970, January - Sponsored walk for the Jimmy Savile Memorial Fund. Lawnswood High School, (for girls) Leeds, raise
the sponsorship money for a kidney unit at LGI. Savile arrives to collect the cheque.

1970, June - Savile in Dereham opening a boutique 'Decimal Fashions' in Norwich Street. Signs autographs. 

1970, June 19th - Edward Heath wins election and becomes Prime Minister.

1970 - Maggie Thatcher appointed Secretary of State for Education and Science by Edward Heath.

1970, November 6th - 'Ask Aspel' interview with Jimmy Savile as guest. Extracted from FOI request to BBC by 56Cheffy.

1970, December - one of the earliest photographs we know of, of Jimmy Savile with Prince Charles, Yorkshire Post Press Room.

1971 - Jimmy Savile OBE

1971 - 1973 - Payola scandal. Radio 1/BBC sex for airtime. Savile questioned.

1971 - CHE's name changes once more, to the Campaign for Homosexual Equality (CHE). It raises money to rent an office
in Manchester and employ a full-time General Secretary, Paul Temperton, and it sets out "to become a fully democratic
"bottom-up" membership organisation". In this year (28th August) CHE members will take part in the first major gay
demonstration in London, nominally to protest at the age of consent.

1971 - CHE Bulletin runs, until 1974. Spawned from their national newsletter whcih now ceases publication. CHE Magazine
Working Party (set up in 1971) also produces Lunch from 1971 to 1974.

1971, January - 'Clunk Click Every trip'; Savile appears in a series of British public information films sponsored
by the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA). Designed to help promote the new law for wearing
seatbelts in the front of a vehicle.

1971, February 11th - Savile records 'SPEAK - EASY' from Broadmoor Hospital. Transmission date 6/3/71. FOI to BBc by 56cheffy.

1971, March 1st - Sir Jimmy Savile steps into his brand new walking boots ready to trek from Land's End to John O'Groats.
The first of 3 expeditions.

1971, March 29th - Claire McAlpine, TOTP's dancer, commits suicide at 15. In her diary she named showbusiness personalities
who she claims "used" her. The allegations were dismissed both within and outside the BBC, and Jimmy Savile denied having
known her.

1971, April 10th - ''Charity Walk' pre-recorded interview by Michael Aspel'. Discovered in FOI request to BBC by 56Cheffy.

1972 - Savile buys a flat on the East Cliff in Bournemouth and moves in during April 1972. He has several links to Bournemouth.
He kept the flat and visited occasionally where he was often seen running along the promenade in present times.
The flat was reportedly sold for charity when he died in 2011, aged 84. Savile also once owned the popular Bournemouth cafe
Norwegian Wood, right, in Glen Fern Road and surrounding buildings. After the allegations emerged about Savile, current owner
Lindsey Webb said she planned to scrub his name from its history. Savile also worked as a public relations consultant for the
Maison Royale/Le Cardinal nightclub complex on Glen Fern Road from 1973 until 1978.

1972 - John Stamford convicted of sending obscene literature through the post. Shortly after
leaves for Holland.

1972 - Miners strike

1972, May - Princess Anne visits Jersey.

1972, August 3rd - Jimmy Savile attends Jersey Battle of Flowers Carnival. He is pronounced Mr Battle again. Miss Battle was
Mary Horton. Pictured here with 'Jersey Holiday Queen' Gaynor Lacey. (corroborated by Exposure doc as being Horton).

1972, October - Savile roves around Norwich in rolls royce as part of National Association of Youth Club's week, visiting
various youth clubs in the city, including Heartsease Community Centre, and spreading the word about providing facilities for 
young people.

1973 - 1978 - Savile works as a public relations consultant for the Maison Royale/Le Cardinal nightclub complex on Glen
Fern Road in Bournemouth.

1973 - CHE holds the first national gay rights conference in Morecambe.

1973 - Michael Trestrail becomes the Queen's bodyguard. No vetting reveals the fact that he is homosexual. The fact 
that Commander Trestrail managed to conceal his sexual life later causes uproar. Homosexuals cannot be cleared for
sensitive posts at this time.,7038905

1973 - Michael Aspel placed at same event as Savile during charity event at Grosvenor House. Shown in video arriving
shortly before Savile. Throws again, following 'This is Your Life' show, Aspel's claims he has never met him out the window.

1973 - Guernsey; Savile allegedly tried to abuse an 18 yr old woman after a charity walk in 1973, when he allegedly 
lured her back to his room at the Duke of Richmond Hotel in Guernsey and 'pinned her down'.

1973 - Pamela Hale meets Jimmy Savile in Jersey, when he does a charity walk in the island.

1973 - Margaret Hodge elected as a councillor for the London Borough of Islington.

1973 - 1982 - Log book of NAYPIC referring to Carole Kasir describes how a rent boy ring using boys from Grafton
Close Children's Home and others was operating from this time onwards with many powerful and well - known figures,
according to a psychologist (Adelaine Stolper) (Stolper was introduced to Chris Fay by a colleague who worked in 
a help-line service.)
This, in turn, is how he was introduced to Carole Kasir.

1974 - Savile becomes involved with Broadmoor, rubber stamped by David Owen, who was health minister, government 
papers in the National Archives disclose. He had accommodation in all 3 hospitals.

1974 - Savile walks from Land's End to John O Groats. (reverse route to 1971).

1974 - Clwyd and Gwynedd Councils created by local government reorganisation.

1974 - CHE organises a national Homosexual Equality Rally in London.

1974 - Russell Howard Tricker begins working in the travel industry.

1974 - Jimmy Savile autobiography "As It Happens, Jimmy Savile, O.B.E : His Autobiography", published by Barrie &
Jenkins, first released.

1974 - Chris Denning's first conviction for gross indecency and indecent assault at Old Bailey.

1974 - Colin Peters returns to UK to study Law after being Secretary General of the British Chamber of Commerce
in Casablance and later specialises in 'indirect tax'.

1974 - 1990 - a series of incidents of child abuse occurrs within the North Wales children's homes.
Some initial reports do not appear in public.
(Keith Gregory claims at Bryn Estyn Savile and brother Johnny were visitors in Howarths flat and boys
were brought to them. Deputy Head Peter Howarth, former ex-Tory MP Sir Peter Morrison, and also named by others.
Steve Messham claims in 2012 Alastair McAlpine abused him there.)

1974, February 2nd - John Savile, Jimmy's brother, stands as a liberal candidate for Battersea North.

1974, February 23rd - Johnnie Savile, Jimmy's brother, candidate for BATTERSEA is joined by Honor Blackman
on a canvassing tour of his constituency.

mid 1970's - Paedophile Action Group for Liberation breakaway group from Gay Liberation Front. 
Later merged with P.I.E. P.I.E. campaign to legalise sex with children over 4. Peter Righton founding member.

1975 - Savile cycles from Land's End to John O' Groats.

1975 - Care worker David Taylor convicted of indecent assault of residents at Bryn Tirion children's home.

1975 - Prince Edward serves as President of The Scout Association.

1975 - Jimmy Savile 10 day 'state visit' to Israel. He meets President Ephraim Katzir and Jerusalem mayor Teddy Kollek, and 
was organised by John Levy of the Friends of Israel Educational Trust.

1975 - Thatcher beats Edward Heath in Tory leadership election to become leader of the opposition.

1975 - Thatcher meets Alastair McAlpine at a dinner party and subsequently appoints him Treasurer of the
Conservative Party until 1990. 

1975 - Savile beat and raped girl at Stoke Mandeville hospital as part of a satanic ritual with other adults in the hospital
basement. He chanted 'Hail Satan' in Latin. Girl first spoke out in 1992.

1975 - CGHE (Conservative Group for Homosexual Equality) is founded, by Professor Peter Campbell, of Reading University,
and is chairman, or vice-president, through almost all the Thatcher years. 
The group is affiliated to the Tory Party. Campbell also edits the newsletter. Peter Campbell is named as a visitor to
the Elm Guest House. The minutes from the founding meeting clearly show that, despite being labelled as an organisation
that promotes gay equality, it is in fact, from inception, a 'pro - paedophile organisation'. This obituary link also 
suggests Campbell had links to the CHE, the Albany Society, and Reading University Conservative Association.
Peter Campbell will be a long-time researcher to Cameron, who helps to prepare him for Prime Minister's Questions - as he
did former Conservative leaders.

1975 - 1976 CHE publishes CHE Broadsheet.

1975, May - Queen Mother visits Jersey.

1975, 30 October - 1980, 17 Nov- The Yorkshire Ripper, Peter Sutcliffe begins murder spree by killing Wilma McCann. 
Body found in Prince Phillip Playing Fields, Leeds.
Savile later viewed as a suspect in Ripper murders and questioned by West Yorkshire Police. Moulds taken of teeth.

1975 - 1976 - North Fox Island abuse, USA. Francis D Shelden missing since his “youth camp” on Fox Island 
turned out to be a pedophile and child porn haven. Frank Shelden owned North Fox Island in Lake Michigan–

1977/78 - Former chamber maid Wendy Mantle, at Henlow Grange Health Farm, at this time 18, molested by Savile.
He is a 'regular guest' there and also describes how her father Jeffery Mantle, who will be jailed in 2008 for raping
a 12-year-old girl, leads two 13-year-olds to Savile’s luxury suite at the hotel. “He said they were Jimmy’s nieces,
but looking back I think they were for sex – one each.” She says she has no idea her father was a paedophile until
after he was exposed in 2008.

Late 1970's (latest 1977) - Savile buys Leeds penthouse flat in Roundhay, Leeds. (Placed here in 1977 at time of Sutcliffe's
killing of his 3rd victim, Irene Richardson). Serial killer expert David Wilson in present times calls for an inquiry into

three ''neglected'' (redacted) ''in a manner likely to cause him unecessary suffering''. Chris Fay notes that
despite this Social Services was not informed by the police nor a Place Of Safety Order issued alongside the warrant from
the magistrate. It was only done AFTER the raid. Also points to heavy involvement of William Everett.

1987 - David Gillison, a care worker at Bryn Estyn, is jailed for three and half years for offences against a 16-year-old
boy from Cheviot Hey. Judge calls for inquiry into how Gillison was employed but the council takes nearly four years
to finish its report.

1987 - Beat Meier and Roger Lawrence (P.I.E. member) were caught by UK customs in 1987 trafficking a 3 year old boy
on the Ostend – Dover ferry. Dutch and British Government's failure to legislate against paedophile groups enabled

1987 - Plans drawn up to appoint Savile to run a taskforce overseeing Broadmoor hospital - during a meeting at the Athanaeum.Brian McGinnis ran the mental
health division of the Department of Health and Social Services. Health service sources said they understood Mr McGinnis
was "instrumental" in the creation of the taskforce, which began work the following year. ''He was under-secretary for mental
health with responsibility for the high-security hospitals when Savile and other members of the group were recruited.''
Alan Franey, an NHS administrator who was appointed to the same taskforce describes being issued with the invitation in 1987
- during "an unusual meeting in the Athenanaeum Club in London with some officials who shall remain nameless." In fact,
what he had not said is that Savile had been present. Mr Brian McGinnis was prevented from working with children by Croydon
Council in 2005, when he was stopped from running a children's church group. Three years earlier Bromley Council ended his
involvement with services for children with learning difficulties. The interventions followed police investigations into his
conduct during volunteer visits to children's homes. He is proviided with keys for the hospital, it will later emerge.

sickening child exploitation and had also visited Wraysbury and Windsor to investigate his past. Godden suffered hairline
fractures of the skull. Grant had been dating Vanessa for about 7 months. Godden had also received death threats from Grant
left on his answering machine. One of 16 Britons involved in the child porn ring who are being deported, Grant had fled to 
Cyprus following completion of his sentence in Britain in 1984 for distributing obscene material. (Godden states Grant went
in at least 1981 however). Allegedly been running a bar, a delicatessen 'Mr Piggy', and allegedly also took out a £10 000 loan 3 
years earlier from Tony Schneider, owner of finance company 'Eastcheap General trading' to set up an ice - cream business
in Cyprus. Unpaid debts have swollen bill to £30 000.

from Grafton Close. Harvey proctor it says was one of Haddon's clients. He was allegedly one of a number of MPs that Haddon brought to
the guest house & to whom he was supplying boys. Haddon & Dwyer were later convicted for their part in supplying boys to
Harvey Proctor. Fay says; 'I have spoken to a number of the boys used by Haddon, some of whom were as young as 8 years old
at the time.' Carols son was placed in Grafton Close Children's home; (her daughter was left to stay in residential boarding school).

1990, August 8th - Carol Kasir's inquest held. Chris Fay and Mary Moss give evidence. The Inquest was adjourned until
22nd August to allow the suicide note to be checked. The eventual verdict was suicide by overdose of insulin.

1990, October - Savile opens new complex in Norwich which gives disabled people a helping hand in starting a business.

1990 - 'A' contacted NAYPIC- a teenage victim/witness of a British paedo ring who said he was forced to film snuff movies 
in a warehouse in or around Amsterdam. Before could give testimony was drugged & pulled into van
in front of Moss' home where hed been staying. Already been threatened & followed; never heard of again.
'The Elite Twelve' paedophile group would pay up to £ 5 000 to children to take part in the videos.

1990, October - by now OPS at Scotland Yard receive worrying signals. 1 informant tells of Alan Williams trafficking boys
into Amsterdam & that Williams has asked him to smuggle a child porn video back into the UK.
- Another informant tells how he has smuggled a dozen tapes into Dam - produced in a house in North London with bondage
room for boys - delivered to Alan to Boys Club 21. Gay Palace he also watches similar vids boys being abused in bondage.
- Another informant (close to Williams) had seen Warwick Spinks selling a special video for £4,000 of boy 8/9 being tortured
by 2 men. (Bjorn vid???)
- Another informant, 'frank', gone Dam in July 1990 (see 1993). Spinks is from now selling videos and connected to the
Temse network (Belgium-Holland-Portugal), with organized holidays including filmed child abuse in Madeira, by his friends 
running it, Norbert De Rijck and De Souza. Warwick is paying trips to Robert Van Der Naeten, who is smuggling kids
from Madeira to the Dutch brothels, but he is not sentenced, unlike the three others. As Marcel Vervloesem brought the
Zandvoort to the Belgian, French and Dutch justices, Warwick and his friend Edward are arrested in Hoordorp, in the 
framework on an inquiry concerning filmed rapes, tortures and murders of at least 5 children. He is then suspected of 
involvement in the Manuel Schadwald case, because he had contact with the Stasi, employer of the missing child’s step father: Wolf
who himself now owns a s&m club in Berlin. He is also close to Lothar Glandorf, and in whose brothel Manuel is seen. 
Furthermore, Spinks will talk of a boy murdered in a Dutch snuff movie who, according to his friend Frank, was nicked named
“Manny” and fitted description of Manuel. Warwick Spinks leaves Holland for England and lives in Hastings, when he was
finally charged for abducting and raping two street boys from London and selling one of them to a Dutch brothel.(5yr jail)

1991 - Police discover Rabet's Sussex children's centre is partly financed by convicted child pornographers and that he
is part of a ring of wealthy, well-connected paedophiles. Police also discover that Peter Righton is a founder member
of the notorious Paedophile Information Exchange, which campaigned for the age of consent to be reduced to four.

as a fixer introducing sex tourists to young boys in the Dutch city.

1992 - Charles Napier, one time treasurer of P.I.E., has house in Evesham, Worcs, raided. Police find not only ''hard-core child abuse
images from Amsterdam'' but a "quarter-century of correspondence" between paedophiles in Britain and around the world. Letter from
him found in flat in South London boasting of his life in Cairo as a "British Council teacher''. Brags of easy access to young boys
and how he can 'send Obscene images back to Britain in diplomatic bags''. Arrest and subsequent caution for indecent assault of a
boy 30 years before.

1992 - the Planning and Environment Committee takes over administration of Haut De La Garenne from Public Services, and the
building is used for temporary accommodation for visiting groups of musicians and sportspeople, especially during festivals.

1992 - Savile on board QE2 for world cruise. "Every day, while at sea , h e runs on deck and, when the ship docks, he runs
on land. The programme (Jim'll Fix It) went to meet him at the port of Haifa in Israel, where he boards the QE2 for the trip
back to England."

1992, April - mysterious fire breaks out in the third-floor flat in Palmeira Avenue, Hove, Brighton which kills
5 people, Several former Clwyd children’s home residents are thought to have been among the guests: two at least Bryn Alyn residents
& knew John Allen very well – Adrian Johns and his brother Lee (also known as Lee Homberg). Adrian Johns dies and 
Lee Johns is injured, found dead in 1995 after testifying in John Allen’s trial.

1992, April - Peter Righton arrested when child pornography is intercepted on its way to him. 

1992, May 28th - Daily Express reports Peter Righton, ''Child Abuse Expert Who Advised Health Department'', has been
questioned by Customs officers after 6 videos involving teenage boys were seized at his home. He is arrested after 
the gay pornography was sent to him by post from Holland, later freed on bail. The material was addressed to him,
when he was New Barns governor. Righton shares his home with New Barns head teacher, Richard Alston, (appointed 1991)who 
resigns later this same year. Porn squad investigators moved in after officers intercepted 2 videos showing YOUNG males
addressed to his home in Evesham, Hereford and Worcester. Health Secretary Virginia Bottomley demanded a ''full report''into the incident.

1992, September - Peter Righton founder of P.I.E. at 66 pleads guilty to three charges of importing or possessing obscene material — 
paedophile gay porn — after customs officers at Dover intercepted two packages addressed to him. Tom Watson claims in 2012 this file of 
evidence used to convict him contained 'clear intelligence' of a sex abuse gang. 
Fined only £900. Quits job at National Children’s Bureau.

1993 - On the basis of Taylor's dossier, police obtain 2,600 witness statements and 300 cases are subsequently sent to the
Crown Prosecution Service. 7 people are prosecuted.

1993 - Savile assaults another 14 yr old girl on a cruise ship, this time the QE2, Victoria Abrahams, on trip around the
Med. One of 40 trips on the QE2 by Savile. 

1993 - Stephen Norris, a care worker at Bryn Estyn, received a suspended jail sentence for sexual offences against nine boys
in his care.

1993, July - Manuel Schadwald, 12 year old Berliner, (allegedly murdered in snuff film) goes missing. Police belatedly
try to find him in late 1990's after initially being labelled a runaway, owing to increasing North European press reports
of trafficking of boys from Berlin to the Netherlands.

1993 - Informant Frank speaks out. Had gone Dam July 1990, tells of Spinks taking boys frm Dam on monthly trips to Berlin to
obtain other boys from Berlin & back Spuistraat. John Gay & Lee Tucker camera crew for child porn. Frank taken on trip
Canaries too. Sees snuff film -12 yr old-needles-torture, in barn Dutch countryside. (called Manny - Manuel?). Earlier police
heard Williams & friends talking about making film in barn of German who owned 1 of Spuistraat clubs.
(Manuel obtained by Spinks frm Berlin and filmed by Gay and Tucker in Glandorf's (from Spuistraat bar) barn?).
Manuel also seen in Glandorf's bar and Spinks connected to Temse network (Belgium-Holland-Portugal) with his friends
Norbert De Rijck and De Souza. Spinks also connected to the Stasi, employer of the missing child’s step father (who
also owned a sado masochist club in Berlin). See 1990, 1992 and 2004).

1994 - Homosexual age of consent lowered to 18 in the Criminal Justice and Public Order Act 1994.

1994 - Peter Howarth, a care worker at Bryn Estyn, sentenced to seven years in jail for sexual offences against seven boys
in his care that lasted 10 years. Later will die in prison.

1994 - Peter Hatton - Bornshin, abused whilst under care of Grafton childrens home when 11 in the 80's, commits suicide at 28.

1994, March - Alan Freeman reveals on breakfast TV that he had become 'celibate' in 1981, but had been bisexual.

1994, April - Police launch investigation into a number of allegations by boys at homes in Cheshire and Merseyside, that
they were abused by Social Workers after Alan Langshaw's (of Greystone & St Vincent's childrens home) case comes to light.
The inquiry kept secret until a BBC regional television programme disclosed its existence 12th January 1995. The 3 Cheshire
homes involved in the inquiry are Greystone Heath, St Aiden's Assisted Community Home in Widnes and Danesford Children's Home
in Congleton. All three homes closed a number of years ago for reasons "not linked to the investigation". On Merseyside, the
homes involved are St Vincent's and Dyson Hall in Fazakerley, Liverpool. "Police in Cheshire have charged four other men with
sex offences and all are currently awaiting crown court trial. Two men have been charged with offences by Merseyside police
and both face committal proceedings later this month." The case was labelled "complex". The British Association of Social Workers
calls on the Government to set up a social work council to regulate standards of behaviour in the profession.

1994, December - Alan Langshaw, 42, from Moreton, Wirral, (formerly of Greystone Heath & St Vincent's) is jailed for
10 years for sexual offences against boys aged between 10 and 20, committed between 1977 and 1994.

1995 - John Allen, head & founder of Bryn Alyn community, convicted of sexual offences against six boys in his
care and sent to jail for 11 years. November 2012 seen working at a Premier Inn.

1995 - Warwick Spinks sentenced 7 yrs reduced on appeal to 5 at Lewes Crown Court, East Sussex, jailed for sexual
offences against boys.Convicted for serious sexual assault at knifepoint, taking a child without lawful authority
and taking indecent images of children. Lewes Crown Court heard that he had he drugged a 14-year-old boy and “sold him”
to a gay brothel in Amsterdam. Flees the country before end of 5 yr sentence whilst on license (after 30 months) in a 
London probation hostel, rips off several credit card companies on a spending spree in the boy bars in Fuggerstrasse 
in Berlin and finally settles in Prague. Forges links with Chris Denning.

about his liking for young girls, his meanness and explores his strange relationship with his mother.

interview' with Panorama, which will be broadcast on the 20th. ('Inside Broadmoor' documentary, 2002).

at care homes in Clwyd and Gwynedd between 1974 and 1990. It sits for 203 days under Sir Ronald Waterhouse QC and
hears from 250 witnesses, 200 additional statements, and in total hears from 650 people. The final report contains
700 allegations of abuse involving 170 individuals. More than 80 people are named as perpetrators. Findings published

ring was operating within its walls and that patients held child pornography videos. Advertisements made for a new head to
replace Mr Alan Franey, 49, when he 'retires early'. On July 25th - Alan Franey leaves post as Chief Executive of Broadmoor
following scandal. A spokesman added that a recent report following the inquiry, launched by the then Health Secretary Stephen

1997 - Spinks tracked down in Prague by The Sunday People. Posing as Dutch property consultant with name Wilhelm Pavel,
shaved moustache, has 'minders', lives in flat in smaller suburbs of Prague, conducts 'tours' through hidden websites
and e mails, taunts Scotland Yard (sent postcard), has gay lover Jakob, 22. ''Between us we have 8 apartments with access to another 68''.
Uses clubs like Pinocchio's or escape for lads like on run frm conscription. Website run frm friend in Budapest.

1997 - Dutch journalists dig out a history of sightings of Manuel Schadwald which suggests he had been put to work in a brothel in
Rotterdam, run by a German, Lothar Glandorf, now 36. After ignoring complaints for 18 months, Rotterdam police targeted him and found he had 
been selling hundreds of boys. Of those they could trace, nearly half were under 16.

1997 - James Chalkley moves from his Stepney Flat in London to Amsterdam. Ex Eastenders actor connected to the Harry Jeffries,

1999 - Janet Cope, Savile's PA, parts company after nearly 30 years devoted service. She states “It’s like a marriage
coming to an end. It was hard at first because I never totally understood why I was no longer needed. But I don’t dwell
on it. I have wonderful memories.” He says he needs to cut the costs of his charity work. Strange, as in the same interview
she says it was a ''mostly free'' service. In an October 2012 interview when talking about being dismissed, Janet said: 
“One day I said, ‘What it is Jim, is that you’re sitting in Leeds with the gun and I’m pulling the trigger down at Stoke
Mandeville’. He went ballistic.''..“He thought I was getting a bit smart, which I was because I had learned a lot from him,

between 72 and 81 which came to light after Dispatches programme.

2000 - Harvey Proctor's stores forced into liquidation after legal action by Customs and Excise over an unpaid VAT bill.

2000 - ''Even Michael Hames, then head of Scotland Yard's Obscene Publications Squad, who handled the Righton files expressed
disappointment more was not done. Writing in 2000 of the Righton inquiry, he called for a national team to be set up to

2002, November - George Smith, former royal servant claims that in the early 1990's he witnessed Prince Charles & the same
royal servant he alleged raped him, in a ''shocking incident'' together. Mail on Sunday publishes story but not exact details
of Smith's claims regarding Charles. They will do in 2003 however.

2003 - The Mail On Sunday publish George Smith's story again but this time with all the details. all the details. It was
a story which, in the paper's own words, could "inflict irreparable damage on the monarchy". Sir Michael Peat, Prince
Charles's private secretary, repeatedly, but unsuccessfully, tried to convince Peter Wright, the editor of the Mail on
Sunday, that Mr Smith was 'an unreliable witness whose personal problems made him vulnerable to chequebook journalism.'

2004 - Harvey Proctor, 'disgraced politician', reported as being ''Queen of the Castle'' as manager of the Duke of Rutland's
ancestral seat, Belvoir (pronounced Beaver) Castle, and lives in a large country house in the grounds of the 18,000-acre estate
near Grantham, Lincolnshire. Living with long term partner and art dealer, Terry Woods. He says he's lived there 'over a year'.

guys crawling around on the grass, with guns. He [Blair] answered the door wearing jeans, with a pint in his hand. We went in,

Approved School for Girls, which Savile treated as a ''paedophile sweetshop''. Mr Williams-Thomas said: "The 2007 investigation
offered the best opportunity to catch Savile. It raises questions about why the one person who could have provided information
was not spoken to.

2007 - Peter Righton dies whilst living on a baronial estate in Suffolk which was regularly used as a holiday
centre for disadvantaged children in Islington, despite earlier convictions for possession of abusive images
of children.

2007 - death of Baby P in Haringey, London.

2007, January - Former social worker, whistleblower Simon Bellwood, centre manager at the Greenfields secure unit on the
island of Jersey in August last year, makes an official complaint about a "Dickensian' system" where children as young as 11 
are routinely locked up for 24 hours or more in solitary confinement in a secure unit where he works. Bellwood is 
backed by British Association of Social Workers. He criticises Jersey's child care system as being 'self regulating' and
workers being afraid to speak out about the cruel policies. Put on "gardening leave" while investigations are carried out.
Social service's Minister of Jersey Stuart Syvret acts on the complaint.

2007, May - Simon Bellwood sacked ''for speaking out'' about the child abuse in Jersey.

2007, Spring - Jersey Police begin investigation into child abuse in Jersey. Practitioners including Bellwood claim 
children in Jersey are being put at risk in child care services because of deficient practice, poor staff training,
lack of external scrutiny of services and a "culture of fear" preventing staff from speaking out. 

2007, September - Stuart Syvret's political career is on the brink after he claims ministers are attempting to "whitewash"
his criticisms of children's services. Ministers prepare a vote of no confidence in Syvret. The Jersey government announces
it is appointing UK social work consultant Andrew Williamson to carry out an 'independent review' of children's services on
the island, including Greenfields. Williamson was appointed on the advice of Lord Laming, who carried out the Victoria 
Climbié inquiry. From this date Jersey Police take 1,776 statements from 192 alleged victims, identifying 151 alleged abusers. 

2008 - Chris Denning extradited back out of Britain after serving 2 years of a further 4 year sentence
and jailed in October for 5 years in Slovakia for producing child pornography. (where he had been living
prior to his extradition to Britain).

2008, February - Police move into Haut de La Garenne (now hostel) as part of the investigation into historic child abuse.
The investigation shows numerous instances of child abuse against past residents, and leads to the conviction of a former
resident and a former member of staff. Initial reports suggest that human remains and other evidence of torture and/or
murder are found. These reports later denied by the police. Savile investigated during the inquiry following 
allegations that the Leeds-born DJ was involved in an indecent assault in the 1970s, and allegations are made against 
other famous and powerful people. The States of Jersey Police say about Savile there was ''insufficient evidence for the
investigation to proceed''. Lenny Harper (Telegraph article below) attests that ''court cases and statements made to my 
team [during the 2008 inquiry] that children in Jersey care homes were 'loaned out’ to members of the yachting fraternity
and other prominent citizens on the pretence of recreational trips but during which they were savagely abused and often raped.''

2008, March - Savile starts legal proceedings against The Sun newspaper, which
had linked him in several articles to child abuse at the Jersey children's home
Haut de la Garenne. Later admitted visiting after publication of infamous photograph surrounded by children.

2008, June 20 - Ray Wyre dies, aged 56.

2008, October 3rd - Russell Tricker's 'recently married' wife dies in car accident near Amsterdam. Was on her way back
to UK to play Santa's granny with Russell for bluebell railways. Originally travelled frm Birmingham to participate, 
then moved France few years before.

2008, October 4th - Savile on 39th QE2 cruise voyage and his fourth to Liverpool.

2009 - Jimmy Savile interviewed under caution by Surrey police investigating an alleged indecent assault 
at Duncroft school. The CPS advised there was insufficient evidence to take any further action. This was 
the year of the last offence recorded by the current investigation. Police failed to interview headmistress.

2009 - Of Savile:''A further separate allegation was made in 2009 to police in Jersey. Police there concluded on legal
advice they could not charge Savile - and they had no access to the information uncovered in the ledger in 1964 
(Battersea ring) because of the limited way that forces were sharing intelligence.''

2009, July 16th - The Campaign for Homosexual Equality is disaffiliated from human rights organisation Liberty,
over a motion which called for a time limit on reporting child sex abuse. They were informed in April that they were 
going to disaffiliate. The contentious motion read: “We urge the government to introduce a Statute of Limitation which
would debar any criminal prosecution in respect of alleged child abuse unless the matter was brought to the attention
of the police within five years of the complainant reaching the age of majority.”

2009, August 13-14th - Jimmy Savile attends Jersey Battle of Flowers. Pictured with 73-year-old Pamela Hale who

2011, May - 'The father superior of the congregation of Salesians in the Netherlands, Herman Spronck, has been dismissed after
defending a paedophile priest. The Belgian Father Superior Jos Claes, of the Don Bosco group in Brussels, told RTL Nieuws that Spronck no longer represents the group in the Netherlands. The dismissal comes after the suspension earlier today of a Salesian priest who was a member of the Dutch paedophile lobby group Martijn.'.' 2011, June 7th - Tom Watson MP claims in the House of Commons about the phone hacking scandal that Johnathan Rees of MET
police was targeting politicians, members of the royal family and even terrorist informers on behalf of Rupert Murdoch's
News International. Nick Davies the next day espouses Freemasonry as playing a significant role in the scandal, including

2011, October 27th - ''Jimmy Savile: Steptoe and Son actor Wilfrid Brambell 'abused boys in Jersey' claims whistleblower''.
Two people come forward to former Jersey health minister Stuart Syvret to claim they were abused by Bramble in the Jersey 
Opera House in the 1970's when they were 12-13. 1 was a resident at Haut de La Garenne. Many other people confide in Syvret
they were abused by Savile.

2011, October 29 - Jimmy Savile dies. Tributes 'pour in'.

2011 Prince Charles leads tributes to Savile. The Prince and the Duchess describe themselves as ''saddened to hear of 
Jimmy Savile's death and their thoughts are with his family at this time."

2011, 9th November - Jimmy Savile's funeral. His funeral took place at Leeds Cathedral and he was buried at Woodlands Cemetery
in Scarborough, in an upright golden coffin buried at a 45 degree angle, facing the ocean and a school.

2012 - Stuart Hall receives OBE for for services to broadcasting and charity in the New Years Honours List.

2012, April 4th - Unnamed man arrested in Somerset by Op Yewtree.

2012, June 16th - Jimmy's partner Sue Hymns and niece Amanda McKenna talk about how Jimmy Savile was a great man and all the
bad rumours of him after his death are 'not true'.

2012 - Cameron announces that Mrs Justice Macur will consider how the Waterhouse inquiry dealt with original 
allegations, its conduct and remit, & establish any new allegations. This is a new police investigation, independent
of North Wales Police force, under Operation Pallial. Ann Clwyd MP calls for the archive copy of the Jillings report
to be published and says she had read the report in 1994.

Esther Rantzen, founder of Childline, admits hearing rumours of Savile's abuse of children but says ''rumours are not evidence''.
Hundreds more victims come forward following programme. Allegations that she failed to act 18 years ago leads the National
Association for People Abused in Childhood to urge her to consider her position as patron of the charity.

2012, October 18th - feature uploaded from 'Meridian Tonight', ITV News, tells how Jimmy Savile was waved through security at
the Palace of Westminster, even the 'airport style' scanners. The reporter says he has accompanied many guests there over the
years but 'savile was 'the only one who was waved through security'.

2012, 24th October- Tom Watson uses his Parliamentary privilege to request police to look afresh at at claims of
an historic “powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No 10''. He refers to Peter Righton, a former consultant
to the National Children’s Bureau, who was convicted of importing and possessing illegal homosexual pornographic
material in 1992. He states that files on this man contained “clear intelligence of a widespread paedophile ring''.

in the 80's by politicians and VIP'S. Launched as a result of Tom Watson's claims in parliament, of the existence of a 
“powerful paedophile network linked to Parliament and No 10''. Only to be publicly revealed on 12th December.

2012, 1st November - Freddie Starr becomes 2nd person arrested by Operation Yewtree. Claim that he tried to molest a 
14-year-old girl in Savile’s BBC dressing room in the 1970s. He strenuously denies the allegation. Released on bail until mid - 

2012, Nov 2nd - BBC airs Newsnight programme during which Steve Messham DOESNT name Alastair McAlpine as an abuser at
Bryn Estyn. He nonetheless apologises, on the 9th, saying he got the name wrong, as does the BBC, which is now in turmoil.
George Entwistle resigns on the 10th, BBC pays £185 000 plus costs to the BBC and £125 000 from ITV for their This Morning
programme. McAlpine goes on to sue Sally Bercow and threatens to sue Twitter users. The importance of free speech never
clearer, nor more attemptedly suppressed.

2012, November 11th - Wilfred De'ath arrested in Cambridgeshire under Operation Yewtree as an actress alleges he sexually assaulted her in 1965. He denies any wrongdoing.

2012, November 11th - ''Charles Napier could provide vital evidence for police investigating a child abuse scandal
spanning three decades''..''Abuse scandals probe widens: The man who may hold key to UK's biggest paedophile network ever''.
Napier is living in Dorset, known as a respected retired languages teacher, a playwright and theatre director. Sordid
past of last 3 decades hidden. A key witness. Links to parliament.....again.

2012, November 15th - Dave Lee Travis, 4th person to be arrested, in Bedfordshire. He was later released on bail. The 
Alegations allegedly unrelated to Savile, and Travis said his arrest had been on matters not linked to children.

2012, November - unnamed man in his 80s questioned by MET Police and his Berkshire house is searched, but not arrested.
Reports later emerge Rolf Harris was questioned in November but was not named until April 19th.

2012, 21 November - Exposure Update: The Jimmy Savile Investigation, was shown on ITV.

2012, November 29th - Leveson report published along with a 48-page executive summary. Leveson found that the existing Press Complaints Commission is not sufficient, and controversially recommends a new independent body, which would have a range of
sanctions available to it, including fines and direction of the prominence of apologies and corrections. Many see the move as statutory
regulation of the press. Lord Hunt, the current chair of the PCC, says the new regulator should be set up by summer 2013.

2012, November 29th - Rolf Harris interviewed under caution for Operation Yewtree on suspicion of sex offences.
Police raided Berkshire home on November 24th but not at home. Offences 'not linked to Savile'.

2012, December 5th - Stuart Hall arrested. Charged with three historic counts of indecent assault, involving a 16- or 17-year-old
girl in 1974, a 9-year-old girl in 1983, and a 13-year-old girl in 1984. A statement from his solicitor says: “Stuart Hall is 
innocent of these charges.'' He invokes Leveson and criticises press for naming him. Lancashire Police say naming Stuart Hall saw
more victims come forward.

2012, 6 December - Max Clifford arrested under Operation Yewtree on suspicion sexual offences that date back 40 years. 
The fifth person to be arrested and the sixth person to be quizzed under Yewtree. ''Not linked to presenter Savile''. Rebailed
on 17th December to a date in February pending further enquiries.

2012, 11 December - MET police state investigation into abuse by Savile complete. Report being prepared for early 2013.
Op had involved 30 officers and cost c. £2 million. Allegations cross 7 police force areas. Some controversy because victims
still coming forward.

2013, January 2nd - Jim Davidson one of 2 men arrested by Operation Yewtree under suspicion of sex offences
against women, not linked to Savile. The second is a 53yr old arrested in Hampshire. Davidson denies the allegations.

2013, 9th January - Documents from NAYPIC worker Mary Moss which were photographed and put online taken
under warrant by police working on Operation Fernbridge. Transcripts attached to linked site.

2013, January - Yewtree report ''Giving Victims a Voice'' published. 'Most frequent offending between 1966 and 1976',
'total of 450 victims, 328 children'. Revealed a police intelligence file also linked the notorious ­paedophile to a child
sex ring in 1964 but it was overlooked until last year. A male victim, furthermore, told police he had been raped in 1963,
but was told to ''forget about it''. Also a letter to Scotland Yard in 1998 claiming the TV star was a child abuser was kept

2013, 17th January - MET Police launch Operation Fernbridge, a full investigation into allegations that 
politicians were members of a paedophile ring which abused children in care in the 1980s. Centres on the alleged 
historic sexual abuse of children at Elm Guest House, in Rocks Lane, a suburban street in Barnes, south-west London,
and Grafton Close Children's Home, Richmond. Follows on from Operation Fairbank, a scoping exercise launched in October
as a result of Tom Watson's claims in Parliament. It is being run by the Specialist Crimes and Operations Directorate,
and led by the Child Abuse Investigation Command. We later discover 7 officers are working on the case.

2013, 26 Jan - Detectives raid Harry Kasir's home.''Detectives believe former guest house owner may hold vital clues to
help them uncover a network of paedophiles with links to politics, showbiz and royalty''. They attempt to recover evidence
and though not arrested, Harry is likely to be talked to again as officers build their case.

2013, January 27th - Cyril Smith named in Barnes abuse case. It is claimed that the late MP attended parties at a London guest
house where boys from a local care home were regularly assaulted.

visa and is preparing to meet his 40-year-old son who already lives in the state of Connecticut. He already has both UK

2013, Feb 25th - Cardinal Keith O’Brien sensationally resigns from his post amid allegations of “inappropriate acts”
towards fellow priests. He has bragged of his friendship with Savile in the past and photos now emerge of the pair 
posing with young children. He said: ''My friendship with Jimmy Savile developed over many years since I was assistant

2013, March 20th - Jim Davidson arrested for second time (first in January) under Operation Yewtree 'others' strand 
about new allegations of sexual offences claims by several women dating back 20 years, and one 35 years. All were 
adults and he denies the allegations.

2013 - March 25th - Wilfred De'ath, former BBC producer, released without charge after being arrested as part of the
investigation under Operation Yewtree. Blames a ''different culture'' back then for reason for not ''grassing him up'' and
failing to report Savile for spending the night with a girl as young as 10.
2013 March 28th - Rolf Harris arrested under Yewtree, 2 days before 83rd birthday. Falls under strand termed 'others'.
Rolf vehemently denies claims. Bailed until May.

2013, March 30th - Dave Lee Travis re - arrested on suspicion of further sexual offences.

2013, April (reported 6th and 7th) - Scotland Yard Commander Peter Spindler dramatically quits in the middle of the high-profile
investigation into Jimmy Savile and other celebrities. Decision surprises insiders who expected Spindler to see Operation Yewtree
through to finish. He instead begins two-year secondment to the police watchdog Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary.
Det Chief Supt Hamish Campbell who led the Jill Dando murder inquiry, is temporarily put in charge of Yewtree.
(Comes 6 weeks after alleged imminent arrest of prominent former Tory cabinet minister suspected of being part of a VIP ­paedophile
ring that was regularly handed boys by child rapist and killer Sidney Cooke for vile sex orgies.)

2013, April, 16th - Hall turns around and pleads guilty to 14 charges of indecent assault involving 13 girls aged between 9 and 17.
Two of the offences related to indecent penetration, and all but four of the offences took place between 1972 and 1982, during the
time Hall was at the height of his fame with It's a Knockout. In May Stuart Hall's lawyers say in a sudden turn around the star 
“sincerely regrets his actions”.

2013, 25th April - Freddie Starr arrested for second time under Operation Yewtree over further allegations of sexual
offences. Bailed until June.

2013, 26th April - Max Clifford charged with 11 indecent assaults against girls and young women between
1965 and 1985.

2013, April 26th - Jimmy Tarbuck, OBE, 73, arrested by North Yorkshire Police in Kingston Upon Thames for questioning in relation 
to an incident that occurred in the late 1970s when the victim was a young boy. Released on bail pending further enquiries.
Not part of Operation Yewtree but information passed on by Met police officers working on Operation Yewtree. Again, name not
made public until 6th May by media, when questioned. 

2013, May 14th - Jim Davidson interviewed under caution (not re - arrested) by Operation Yewtree officers over 
claim he sexually assaulted a woman in the Falkland Islands in the 1980's.
